Role Overview:
- We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager to join our team in Chennai.
- The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving business growth, managing client relationships, and overseeing vendor partnerships.
- This position requires strong expertise in client acquisition, sales strategy, and IT consulting, coupled with excellent market research skills and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:
- Identify and target potential clients through strategic market research.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and satisfaction.
- Develop customized solutions to meet client needs and present proposals effectively.
Sales Strategy & Business Development:
- Develop and execute innovative sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Analyze market trends, competitors, and opportunities to identify growth areas.
- Work closely with internal teams to align sales goals with business objectives.
Vendor Management:
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors to support business operations.
- Negotiate vendor contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality service delivery.
- Build strong partnerships with vendors and manage performance metrics.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Liaise with internal teams (marketing, operations, and product) to deliver seamless client solutions.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare detailed sales forecasts, reports, and presentations for leadership review.
- Track KPIs and analyze sales performance to refine strategies and processes.
Key Skills:
- Proven track record in Client Acquisition and IT Consulting.
- Expertise in Market Research and the ability to identify emerging opportunities.
- Strong background in Sales Strategy and revenue generation.
- Proficiency in Vendor Management and contract negotiations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for Cross-Functional Collaboration.
