Job Description:
The Sales Manager is responsible for leading the sales team to success by setting sales goals, developing effective sales strategies, and providing motivation and coaching to the sales representatives. This role involves close collaboration with product managers, marketing managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the organization's software products are marketed and sold in the most impactful way possible.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/KRAs:
- Effectively set and track sales goals
- Possess strong sales hunting skills and experience
- Skillful in developing and executing sales strategies
- Efficiently manage and motivate a team of sales representatives
- Build and nurture relationships with key accounts
- Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis
- Identify and qualify promising leads
- Provide valuable training and support to sales representatives
- Consistently meet and exceed Annual/Quarterly sales targets with a strong focus on achieving numbers
- Analyze pipeline and lead data, delivering periodic reports to the sales and marketing teams with key insights such as Demand Generation, Pipeline Forecast and Trends, Conversion Rates, Target Account, Market Segmentation, Win/Loss, and Age
- Actively participate in events, industry meets, and business development communities
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to successfully create opportunities and close deals
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Required: Bachelor's degree in business or a related field (MBA is a plus)
- Desired: 3+ years of experience in saas product or IT Services sales
- Essential: Proven track record of success in sales and ability to meet revenue targets
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Proficient in performing Outbound and Inbound calls, delivering professional presentations
- Excellent English communication skills (written and oral) with strong interpersonal skills
- Preferably have experience in the Salesforce ecosystem (partner, alliance, etc.)
- Capable of managing the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals
- Thorough understanding of the US market
- Effective communication, presentation, and influencing skills across all organizational levels, including executive and C-level
- Experience with Salesforce or a global CRM platform, and familiarity with lead funnel movement
