We have an Opportunity for Business Development Manager and senior BDM for the largest information security training organisation in the world.
Location: India (Kolkata or Bangalore)
Job Purpose:
- To be responsible for sales and business development of the new product, Foundations and Elementary courses for the APAC region, especially India and South Asia.
- Target audience will be schools, colleges, universities and Cyber Security Communities.
Senior BDM - Experience selling to Enterprise, Corporate and Federal Government
- Preferably from IT/ITES or Cyber Security Sector
- To understand the elements of the portfolio you are accountable for, along with the associated systems and processes
- To be responsible for developing new client opportunities from prospect to partner and to fully represent and build the brand in accordance with the company brand values and mission statement.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- To build and maintain the brand and mission
- To manage and develop new client and partner relationships and raise awareness of the courses and training across the region
- Identity and recruit partners across region wherever applicable
- To proactively network across Education sectors
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with new accounts, partners and build new relationships
- Translate Cyber Security industry developments into customer driven solutions
- Manage, deliver & exceed targets, KPI's and other set objectives
- Ability to differentiate our offerings against those of our competition to advantage
- To follow and understand the latest trends and developments in the cyber security industry
- Effectively support campaigns and events to help deliver revenue growth targets
- To develop and maintain an accurate sales forecast and robust pipeline
- Adhere to agreed sales processes and procedures
- To define and develop peer and executive relationships with the wider teams
- Carry out additional responsibilities as requested by the management team
PERSON SPECIFICATION :
Essential Requirements:
- 10 + years experience as a Business Development Manager from Education & training background
- Experience in working with Schools, Colleges, Universities and IT/Cyber Security Communities
For Sr, BDM:
- 10 + years experience as a Business Development Manager
- Experience selling to Enterprise, Corporate and Federal Government
- Preferably from IT/ITES or Cyber Security Sector
- Experience in handling channel sales
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated, tenacious and resilient in delivering business results and projects
- Ability to network and communicate at all levels both internally and externally
- Proven track record of delivering against targets within a telephone-based sales role
- Aligning and prioritising multiple demands
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills
- Computer literate competent in using all Microsoft Packages to a high standard
Desirable :
- An understanding of the Cyber Security industry
