Business Development Manager


Job Summary:

- We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our FMCG team.


- The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and expanding the company's presence in both domestic and international markets.


- This role requires a thorough understanding of the FMCG industry, market trends, and strong networking and negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Research & Analysis:

- Conduct market research to identify potential business opportunities, emerging trends, and consumer needs in the FMCG sector.

- Analyze competitor strategies and market share to enhance product positioning.

Strategic Partnerships:

- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, distributors, retailers, and other partners.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, supply chain) to align business strategies.

Sales & Revenue Growth:

- Develop and implement business strategies to increase revenue, expand market share, and penetrate new markets.

- Work with the sales team to achieve targets, monitor performance, and identify areas for improvement.

Client Acquisition & Retention:

- Identify and secure new clients while maintaining relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.

- Conduct negotiations, prepare contracts, and ensure smooth onboarding of new clients.

Product Development & Launch:

- Collaborate with the product development team to identify market needs and ensure successful product launches.

- Provide market feedback to support innovation and product improvements.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

- Prepare and manage budgets for business development initiatives.

- Provide accurate sales forecasts and performance reports to senior management.

Brand Building:

- Work closely with the marketing team to drive brand awareness through campaigns, promotions, and other initiatives.

- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master's/MBA preferred).

- 3-5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the FMCG industry.

- Strong understanding of the FMCG market, consumer behavior, and distribution channels.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing market conditions.

- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data for decision-making.

- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
