- As part of our client's integration strategy they are expecting significant growth in Contract Logistics , providing best in class solutions to serve their clients end to end supply chain needs. Our client are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their Sales and Marketing team. This position is accountable for Business Development for Contract Logistics & Transportation Business in North India.

Description :
- Primary responsibility is to achieve Business Development targets for both Warehousing & Transportation divisions of our client.
- Maximize revenue and profits through price strategies, margin control and long term retention strategies.
- Analyze market trends; recommend changes to marketing and business development strategies based on analysis and feedback.
- Maintain BD pipeline reports, present periodic progress reports to senior leadership and review them periodically.
- Understand the customer needs, priorities & ambitions, Develop winning solution concepts and communicate to the customer
- Drive continuous improvement strategies with key customers.
Profile :
- Master's Degree in Business Administration with Marketing Specialization
- Deep knowledge on operations w.r.t contract Logistics & Transportation is must.
- An ambitious and proactive business development person with a proven track record in Supply chain & logistics sector.
- Firm and very intense driver of the business, Negotiation & Persuasion skills
- 8 to 10 Years in selling of Contract Logistics with a background in both Operations and Sales.
- Strong communication skills plus confidence to meet clients both existing and the ability to engage at a senior level in a customer organization and to co-create a business case for change
- Project Management skills, experienced in new sales opportunities and project launch
- Confident in the use of MS Office products is a must and Salesforce would be an advantage
