Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales and Business Development Manager to oversee our operations in the West region of India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and business development, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets. This role requires a strategic thinker with the ability to drive business growth and establish strong relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company targets in the West region.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs and preferences.
Client Relationship Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring exceptional customer service.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints efficiently.
- Regularly meet with clients to discuss their needs and ensure customer satisfaction.
Sales Operations:
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to clients.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Monitor sales performance and generate regular reports for management review.
Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
- Collaborate with the product development team to provide customer feedback and suggestions.
- Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of products.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an MBA.
Experience:
- 4-7 years of experience in sales and business development, preferably in the plastic or manufacturing industry.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel within the West region as needed.
