Manager Business Development (Sales) - Big 4

Experience : 7-12 years

Location : Mumbai and Hyderabad

Must have :

- Experience with Consulting firms

- Sales and BD in Operational and Process Excellence and/ or IT solutions - Scrum, Agile, product management, Lean Six Sigma

- Sales/ Government Project

- Business Development

- Client Acquisition

- Demand generation

Job Description :

Responsibilities :

- Identify new prospective customers and establish connections.

- Drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to closed sales.

- Drive & target a pipeline of around 15 Cr within their respective region.

- Prospect for potential customers using various direct methods such as calling and face-to-face meetings, and indirect methods such as networking via various means.

- Engage through consultative sales by discussing with prospects about business challenges and requirements, as well as the range of options and cost benefits of each.

- Maintain a high level of domain knowledge in order to have meaningful conversations with prospects.

- Bring in their relevant connections and network.

- Develop and maintain key account plans for the region that identify opportunities for the company to deliver value, main stakeholders and forecasted sales.

- Report on sales activity to the head of business development on a weekly basis.

- Provide forecasts on high/medium/low probability pipeline.

- Work with delivery teams to proactively address problems and hence develop solutions.

- Work with marketing to plan and execute lead generation campaigns.

- Provide feedback to sales management on ways to decrease the sales cycle, enhance sales, and improve company brand and reputation

- Provide feedback to head business development/ED/Partner on market trends, competitive threats, unmet needs, and opportunities to deliver greater value to customers by extending company offerings

- Identify sales support requirements and work with marketing to develop and improve sales tools

- Be a positive representative of the company and its brand in the marketplace

- Conduct all sales activities with the highest degree of professionalism and integrity

Qualifications :

- 7 to 10 years of relevant experience (IT services/ consulting preferred)

- Should be a post-graduate from a reputed institute

- Experience of a client-facing professional role and an understanding of professional services markets will be an advantage.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Candidates should have prior experience with Sales and Business Development with respect to operational and process excellence (must have)

- Candidates should have a consulting background (must have)

Required Qualification : Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.)
