Manager - Business Development
Objective:
- Drive top-line business growth by sourcing and managing business through channel teams, building relationships, and promoting products.
- Oversee the end-to-end process from product launch to customer satisfaction, ensuring smooth operations and enhancing team performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Targets Achievement:
- Source business through channel teams to meet top-line targets.
- Launch and promote new products in the market to expand the business footprint.
Relationship Management:
- Build and nurture relationships with bank branches and cross-sell additional products.
- Strengthen relationships with existing clients and branch staff, including monitoring ARM (Area Relationship Manager) performance.
Sales Promotion and Market Presence:
- Conduct sales promotions, organize and participate in expos and events to enhance market presence.
- Develop and execute strategies to improve market reach and brand visibility.
Customer Service and Satisfaction:
- Ensure the highest quality of customer service to guarantee key customer satisfaction.
- Handle all activities related to the product lifecycle, from login to disbursement.
Process and Coordination:
- Liaise with departments such as Credit and Operations to ensure smooth process flows.
- Prevent and minimize fraudulent or risky proposals through stringent checks.
Channel Partner Acquisition:
- Acquire and manage channel partners for product sourcing and distribution.
- Enhance relationships with existing partners and monitor performance.
Feedback and Product Improvement:
- Provide timely feedback to the central team regarding product features and processes for continuous improvement.
Training and Team Management:
- Conduct training sessions on selling techniques and product knowledge.
- Create a performance-oriented environment through effective team management, boosting employee motivation and productivity.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
- Experience: Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
