Manager - Business Development - Battery Industry

Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to generate and engage with potential business partners across the battery industry value chain.

- Identify and qualify new partnership opportunities that align with the company's strategic objectives and market needs.

- Build and manage strong relationships with key decision-makers at potential and existing partner companies.

- Lead the negotiation and execution of partnership agreements to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.

- Develop and manage partner programs to foster collaboration and drive ongoing engagement.

- Provide ongoing analysis and reporting on partnership performance and identify areas for improvement.

- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across various departments, including engineering, marketing, and sales.

- Contribute to industry events and conferences to raise brand awareness and build relationships.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Materials, Mechanical or related field) with a focus on battery technology (highly preferred).

- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in business development or a related field within the battery industry.

- Proven track record of identifying, developing, and executing successful business development strategies.

- Strong understanding of the battery industry ecosystem, market trends, and key players.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

- Ability to build trust and rapport with stakeholders at all levels.

- Highly analytical with a strong understanding of financial metrics and return on investment (ROI).

- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

- Strong organizational skills and a meticulous attention to detail.

- Ability to travel as needed.
