Job Title : Manager, Business Development and Client Relation

Primary Area of Responsibility : Sales, Business Development, Client On-boarding

Years of Experience Manager : Minimum 3-6 years in relevant role

Location : Bengaluru

- Candidate is expected to spend initial 3 to 6 months in Corporate Office, Mumbai

- Educational Qualifications : MBA (Finance or Marketing) from a reputed institution is preferable

- Reporting to : The profile reports into the Head - Business Development, Sales & Marketing

Job Description :

1. Business Development for the company's Custodial Services and Fund Accounting product proposition to institutional clients.

2. Acquisition of new FPI, FDI, FVCI and domestic accounts for the company and on-going relationship management responsibilities for newly acquired accounts.

3. Co-ordinate with relevant stakeholders from Parent companies (SBI & SG) on business development.

4. Making product pitches, presentations and explaining product features to client teams comprising CXOs, Treasury and Investment Operations.

5. Tracking market news for new fund-raising announcements and other items related to our area of business. Using the information gained to contact prospective clients for new business.

6. Coordinating with internal departments and parent organizations for new business opportunities.

7. Attending conclaves, seminars and industry conferences to generate leads for the business.

8. Responsible for Account On-boarding for acquired clients, coordinating relevant stakeholders of corporate teams (BD, CRM, Client On-boarding)

9. Represent SBISG to clients based out of South India.

Key Personal Characteristics :

- Excellent communication and networking skills to communicate with senior level client executives.

- Self-motivated with ability to persevere with long deal cycles to ensure closure of deals.

- Proficient in MS-Word, Excel and PowerPoint

- Relevant Experience Handling FII/Institutional Finance/Domestic Sales desk for existing Custodial firms.
