Manager - Business Continuity Planning - BPO/KPO

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Develop, maintain, and manage the Business Continuity Program liaising with operations & Clients

- Identify the critical business functions and determining appropriate recovery strategies

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards and overall Risk Management requirements.

- To ensure effective controls are in place and support all activities necessary to the business to respond to a business disruption.

- Update BCM policies and procedures within stipulated timeline

- Build a Business Impact Analysis (BIA) to assess internal and external threats and the risk they pose to the business and community

- Recommend mitigation strategies to reduce or eliminate identified risks

- Drive the content & delivery of BCM plans and documentation for core operational areas which includes, business resumption, recovery, restoration, and disaster recovery plans that allows for business continuation in the event of disruptions or disasters,

- Provide overall governance and direction setting of the program on an ongoing basis,

- Coordinate the activities amongst various BCM work streams

- Work closely with technology teams to ensure their disaster recovery plans for critical systems and applications are consistent with the plans developed for the business

- Coordinate BCP testing program and actively facilitate & participate in testing scenarios

- Record the nonconforming product/services for the process owner to carry out preventive and corrective actions.

- Assist with the operations governance structure for crisis management & continuity planning

- Develop status reports on location continuity plans and prepare management reports as necessary
