FUNCTION OVERVIEW

The Tax Information Reporting department (- TIR- ) is the centralised team responsible for Company's US tax information reporting functions. Comprising operations and project teams, TIR provides support for Company businesses globally, covering all aspects of US tax compliance including tax document processing, withholding and reporting.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Objective:

Reporting through to the APAC TIR PMO lead, the purpose of this role is to provide business analysis and project management support for regulatory change-driven initiatives that impact TIR and the Company businesses that TIR supports. This will include analysis of reference data and product processing systems, client onboarding, account opening, front office and operational issues, definition of corresponding solutions and implementation. Scope of the role is front-to-back, cross-product and cross-business. The role will also include ad-hoc project support on an as-needed basis for a broad range of projects for TIR in EMEA.

Initially, the role will focus on the CPB Business, with responsibility for completing comprehensive baseline business analysis and associated project support activities. The role will involve liaising with both internal and external resources (business analysts and project managers) and will support the Programme lead in executing related projects for the APAC region.

Key Responsibilities: (Describe the main activities the individual will perform)

- Perform detailed business & data analysis, process redesign, and project planning

- Identify key project risks, whether stated or not, and manage to resolution or escalate accordingly

- Develop individual project artefacts as necessary, including Project Initiation Documents (PIDs), Business Requirements documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements documents (FRDs), UAT plans and UAT scripts

- Support the implementation/roll-out of TIR projects impacting the FXLM business, specifically for the APAC region

- Work with the global team including Operations, Technology, Consulting Firms, Controls and Middle Office to ensure successful program planning and approach decisions, execution of the project and delivery into production.

QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge/Experience: (What knowledge/ experience of the role or the industry does the individual need, e.g. relevant work experience, industry and/or product knowledge)

- Bachelors with 3+ yrs of relevant experience.

- Demonstrable experience working in a business analyst role, preferably within a dedicated change function

- Experience in collecting, defining and documenting business and technology requirements is essential

- Experience working on projects encompassing both IT systems and business process change highly desired

- Knowledge and working experience of Capital Markets products and industry preferred

- Experience in Regulatory or Tax Projects highly desired

- Experience in Client Onboarding, KYC, Accounts Control or Reference Data Projects highly desired

- Past experience working on multi-region projects desirable

Skills: (What specific technical skills does the individual need and at what level, e.g. specific IT/spreadsheet/analytical/modelling skills)

- Excellent business analysis and problem solving skills essential

- Ability to organize multiple parallel tasks/streams; a self-starter who can work independently

- Strong work ethic and ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

- Strong written and verbal communications skills essential

- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with multiple functions (Front Office, Middle Office, Operations, Compliance, Technology, Corporate Tax and Finance) to ensure communication, collaboration and agreement

- Ability to collaborate and come to decisions quickly

- Ability to quickly grasp and master new concepts / requirements and related product / functional knowledge

- Ability to learn/understand some technical implications of system design

- Strong data analysis skills - ability to take large amounts of data, analyse, identify patterns, issues, etc

- Strong Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Word knowledge; previous experience with MS Access desirable
