Description

Key Accountabilities/Deliverables

- Find opportunities to drive value through data & analytics


- Help build data-science and algorithmic solutions to address business problems requiring descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and / or prescriptive analytics

- Drive new value from insights from connecting external and internal data sources


Resources

The position is an individual contributor role with extensive stakeholder management, working closely with the different functional teams in HUL. This position is expected to be a change leader driving the use of data and analytics mainly within Marketing, Media, Finance & customer marketing. This role will also manage third party resources as required.

Profile

Relevant Experience and Profile

- MBA with 4+ years of relevant work experience in roles partnering in a technology/data related work area


- Bachelors degree in a relevant technical field (Operations Research, Computer Science, IT, Statistics, Business Analytics or similar).

- Prior industry experience in CPG, Retail, Consumer Durables, eCOMM preferred. Experience in MMM, segmentation, demand forecasting, text analytics would be preferred.


- Track record in building analytical solutions using quantitative and statistical approaches

- Working knowledge of Regression, Classification, and Time Series Problems.


- Should have knowledge around concepts of the different types of linear regression models, tree-based models (decision trees, random forest, gradient boosting, XGBoost etc) and forecasting (both univariate and multivariate).

- Passion for empirical research and for answering hard questions with data


- Ability to communicate complex quantitative insights in a precise, and actionable manner

- Strong communication skills and ability to work with peers & senior stakeholders demonstrating strong vertical and lateral influence.
