JOB DESCRIPTIONS
- End to end Big Data Lake, Hive, Spark, Hadoop,Scala,
- Minimum undergraduate technical degree (B.E. / BTech/ equivalent) or post-graduation degree in Computer Applications/IT.
Must Have Skills:
- Graduate from Information Technology, Engineering or computer science.
- At least 8-10 years of total experience, of which at least 6 years in the banking Industry OR in data warehousing/ data integration projects.
- 3-4 yrs experience of Hadoop (Hive, Pig, HBase etc.) and or Teradata
- Experience in requirements gathering and design/implementation for Big Data Lake, Enterprise Data warehouse, BI and Analytics projects.
- Hands on designing a Customer data solution to handle
- Data ETL for Big Data Lake using Informatica, Data Stage and Talend etc
- Hands-on SQL experience/knowledge.
- Exposure to AWS
- Functional & Domain expertise in Credit Risk.
- Experience in banking operations/processes would be required. Exposure to data migration and databases would be preferred.
- Knowledge on Enterprise-Wide Stress Testing, Credit Risk domain and Scoring Risk Modelling.
- Knowledge on Version control, Continuous integration / Continuous deployment (CI/CD or DevOps) practices.
- Ability to write
- Mutually exclusive and collectively exhaustive- text.
- Ability to negotiate at a tactical level articulating pros and cons and recommending a mutually beneficial course of action.
- Ability to influence and lead others.
- Ability to coach and mentor.
- Strong project management skills and results were driven.
Good to have:
- Experience in working in intercultural teams.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, including dealing with business users, vendors & other IS teams.
- Knowledge/experience with web-based / banking applications.
- Proven track record of delivering projects with both waterfall and agile delivery methodologies.
- Proven ability to understand business needs, across asset classes and with a front to back perspective.
- Ability to work proactively, independently and displays strong initiative.
- Confidence to challenge the status quo, providing alternative solutions.
- Proactive, self-starter, autonomous, good analytical skills.
- Estimates and Resource Planning.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Understanding of Credit Risk domain and Scoring Risk Modelling.
Travel: Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
