Position - Manager Bid Support
Location - Mumbai
Experience - 5 - 9 years (2-3 years in BFSI domain)
Role Objective
1. Manage the internal organization bid submission and pre sales activities
2. Develop and build offshoring solutions for clients and tenders
3. Build & maintain good relationship between organization in India and UK Bids / Sales teams
4. Build & maintain good relationships with internal organization stakeholders
5. Create and maintain sales collateral / case studies required for bid submissions or any other purposes by the organisation
Professional Know-how
Academic: 1. Any graduate
Experience: 1. Overall 5-7 years experience in BPO industry
- 2-3 years experience in bid support role and/or
- Project management roles involving moving of roles from onshore to offshore location in India
- Added advantage if experienced in Marketing / BD function in any BPO organisation
Primary Responsibilities
1. Bid support – Solution design / Pricing / Collateral / Documentation
a. Develop & modify solution across various stages of the procurement process - ITT to RFP / BAFO stages
b. Develop and secure sign off on the proposed solution & pricing by following the stipulated governance process
c. Keep on top of all information related to bids via various sources – emails, website uploads, client documents etc.
d. Analyse available information and take necessary steps i.e. to seek for more information or provide update to senior management based on analysis carried out.
e. Develop pricing models for bids using existing templates. Improvise and customise template to make it more efficient and relevant
f. Develop / Update collateral and written responses to questions during different phases of bids
g. Work on streamlining the internal solution design and sign off process to make it efficient and easy to replicate for all bids
h. Maintain all the critical documentation on bids and ensure relevant data is available for reference in future
i. Build & maintain good relationship between organization and the Big Ticket Sales teams
j. Record relevant information in Bid Management and client databases and report on key performance indicators
k. Produce MI as per requirement on pre-determined frequency or ad hoc basis
l. Manage client / analyst visits to organization's India offices
