As the Assistant Manager Bid and Proposal, you will be responsible to manage the entire proposal development process which includes overseeing pre-sales activities like project estimates, proposals, client presentations etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identifying and keeping a track of upcoming opportunities like tenders, EOIs etc.
- Working closely with sales teams in order to map the upcoming market opportunities
- Keeping a track of existing and upcoming Government schemes, budgets and business opportunities relevant to ICT in education market
- Conducting primary and secondary research to identify new business opportunities
- Preparing the lead generation strategy using market mapping, current penetration and sales potential
- Maintaining and managing repository of various business documents through proper storage, archiving and disposal
- Preparation of all the responses/bids for RFPs, EOI and coordinating with other departments like Sales, Finance and Vendor management etc for the same
- Preparing and providing proposals, concept notes, letters etc. to the sales teams
- Developing winning themes, technical discriminators, and innovative pricing strategies
- Contributing to RFP response requirements and ensuring proposal compliance, and acting as the primary interface for RFx response efforts
- Responsible for writing persuasive executive summaries and other narratives which address the specific requirements of each RFQ/RFP
- Providing timely support to sales teams
- Tracking the bid results (win/loss) including detailed information from the sales team and analyze the reasons for win/loss to improve future bids with regard to the pricing and proposal process
Candidate Profile:
- Post Graduate preferably MBA in Marketing/Operations, having 2-5 years of work experience
- Proven experience in Bids and tenders, writing proposals, online research, reports and business communication
- Proven experience in dealing with Education Sector is a great add on
- Understanding of Government Sector business, tenders and bid process
- Understanding of market research methodologies and techniques
- Appropriate insight of education, training and IT sector
- Knowledge on organization offerings and analytic skill
- Time-bound and attention to detail with data management
- Flexible for travel on need basis
- Possess excellent knowledge of MS Office tools
- Excellent communication skills and networking skills
- Excellent Presentation and Relationship Management skills
Salary offered: 5 - 10 LPA
