Banquet Sales Manager


Key Responsibilities :


- To develop and implement the strategic sales & marketing plan for Banquet sales including forecasts for new business development.


- To generate new business, close deals, and increase revenue by calling, on-site visits and community networking.


- To Identify potential new business leads by, but not limited to, examining local market trends, and competitor's activities, old client databases, direct mails, visiting corporates, Govt & non-government institutions.


- To meet with guests to show facilities and share about the brand, facility, menus and other services that can be offered.


- To discuss with clients on the specifics of the event including the date and time, logistical requirements like audiovisual facilities, stage equipment, lightning, dressed-up tables, etc.), menu items and the number of tables for pricing and event planning purposes.


- To achieve set Revenue Targets new and existing business as agreed and set out in the Sales Activity Plan.


- To periodically carry out market research, analyze marketing trend and existing market conditions and have competitor information's to identify opportunities to capture new clientele and expand market share.


- To lead and motivate team members to achieve departmental objectives.


- To periodically train the sales agent team and share current market trends to enable them to perform.


- To coordinate event menus with the Chef to ensure proper inventories and item availability.


- Meet and greet all parties upon arrival for the scheduled event to review arrangements.


- To conduct a post-event, follow up for customer feedback on their experience/concerns/complaints during the event.


- Actively manage business bookings, record denials, make network referrals.


- To follow up with clients for repeat business.


- Other duties and tasks assigned by the management within the job scope.
