Designation: Manager/AVP

Role:The role exists within the Valuation Control Group. The function is responsible for the validation of the final reported valuations of trading products & derivatives through a combination of independent price verification (IPV) and reserving techniques.

- work with Valuation Control team to build and maintain systems and tools for valuation of equity derivatives and structured products

- develop solutions/applications using Python and other languages for automation of existing and new processes

- use analytical and data mining skills on large data sets through programming languages (preferably python)

- problem solving of dynamic requests from various stakeholders

- contribute to various strategic projects and initiatives and help build the brand for Equities VCS

- collaborate with automation teams and specialists in the firm and implement firm and group level automation initiatives

- ensure all codes, tools and systems are compliant with the internal guidelines, policies, and best practices; and implement controls as required to ensure integrity of data and processes.

- train team members on automation tools and systems and work with them to maintain and improve the automation infrastructure.
