Key Requirement- Third Party Risk Management (Non -IT)
Direct Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for OPC matters related to Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM)
- Provide expertise and support to the Global Head of CIB ITO Quality & Efficiency on TPRM issues.
- Coordinate Local TPRM OPC Setups Across Regions
- Oversee and align local TPRM OPC setups in AMER, EMEA, UK, and APAC regions.
RCSA (Risk Control Self-Assessment):
- Ensure global CIB TPRM guidelines are consistently applied across all regions.
- Develop a standardized RCSA matrix for use across regions.
- Manage and coordinate the delivery of TPRM RCSAs, ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards.
Controls:
- Execute controls over Global TPRM processes managed by the two Global TPRM teams (TPRM Office and Shared Service Center).
- Design and implement additional CIB TPRM controls as needed.
Incident Management:
- Investigate and report incidents related to third parties promptly and efficiently.
Procedure Management:
- Support the management and maintenance of CIB TPRM procedures.
Recommendations:
- Track and follow up on recommendations (regulatory, internal audit, or 2nd Line of Defense) and related action plans concerning TPRM.
- Participate in relevant committees.
- Produce and report on Management Information (MI) and Key Risk Indicators (KRI).
- Support the UK OPC team in various missions, such as preparing committee slides, integrating TPRM risks into Business RCSAs, executing controls, investigating incidents, etc.
- Leverage the experience of other team members to enhance the implementation of the operational risk management framework.
Technical & Behavioral Competencies:
Must have:
- Prior experience in managing or auditing TPRM processes.
- Ability to work with a high level of autonomy.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, particularly in interactions with Senior Management.
Additional relevant competencies:
- Experience in managing a Permanent Control framework (RCSA, controls, incidents, procedures, recommendations, etc.) and/or audit experience.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory expectations on TPRM from European (e.g., EBA) and local authorities (e.g., PRA).
- Knowledge of CIB activities (e.g., Global Banking, Fixed Income & Commodities, Corporate Banking, Asset-Liability Management & Treasury, Global Markets, Securities Services).
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to quickly adapt to and use internal risk management tools (360, ORUS, etc.).
