Manager/AVP - Finance - BFSI/BPO/Auto

Knowledge/Experience :

- Good financial analysis and management reporting background having 5-8 years of prior work experience

- Experienced in Microsoft Office (including PowerPoint, Excel & Word)

- Experience of working with financial data and knowledge of financial reporting tools. Essbase, Business Objects would be a plus.

- Interest in business and economic environment

Education :

- Professional degree equivalent to CA / MBA Finance

Key Responsibilities :

- Performance Measurement Reporting & Analytics

- Analysing, investigating and explaining key movements and trends in P&L lines. Preparation of monthly financial metrics and key business drivers specific to different products/functions

- Providing financial support to Business/Functions & assist them in decision making

- Preparation of various Reports to support the Management needs and ensuring timely adherence to deadlines

- To provide commentaries and business insights on variance under different scenarios and time periods

- Track & provide insight on business productivity(efficiency saves) & projects driven by business

- To coordinate with various stakeholders to right align the headcount, dollars and business structure within reporting systems periodically

- Preparation of monthly Management packs, Review decks & getting into discussions with Finance Management, as necessary

Budgeting and Forecasting Process :

- Working with Country & Regional Managers to create and review Monthly & quarterly outlook and annual financial plans, including reporting & analysis to explain changes against given baselines

Month End Oversight activities :

- Assist in key month end activities including interaction with the Controllers to provide oversight of completeness and accuracy of underlying management information

- Support various teams with key Management reporting as appropriate

- Working as part of a diverse team spread across the region, interaction with a wide range of people including Regional /Global Finance Owners

Transitions & Client Management :

- Ensuring smooth transition of activities from various stakeholders within Mumbai COE or from onshore location

- Effective Client relationship & Demand management to be able to meet the needs of various stakeholders

Team Management / Individual Contributor (IC) Role :

- Incumbent should be willing to work as an Individual Contributor and / or manage a small sized team

- Drive various Process efficiencies through standardization and re-engineering of activities

- Result Oriented

- Has a proactive approach to problem solving
