Manager - Audit & Tax - CA Firm

Purpose:

To assist the Partner/ Superior in implementing and executing projects in assurance, tax and advisory services as per the professional and firms quality standards.

Responsibilities:

- Assisting in carrying out quality audit and other assurance services to clients in multiple industries

- In-charge in obtaining all necessary audit working papers and documentation including researching and documenting facts and findings.

- Identify and communicate accounting and auditing matters to managers and partners

- Identify performance improvement opportunities

- Having a working knowledge of Audit Tools

- Actively work with cross-functional teams to provide holistic tax solutions to clients

- Manage and maintain relationships with clients and the advisory team of the group

- Coordinate with clients and various internal teams of the firm in relation to various tasks of the assignment

- Play an active part in problem solving and conflict resolution

- Ensure that projects are completed efficiently within the budgeted time and cost

- Business Development

- Project Management- Efficient management and successful delivery of technically complex and demanding assignments

- Supporting practice management initiatives and catering to financial metrics

- Play a pivotal role in expansion of the firm's tax practice in new markets

- Generate and manage possible leads from other areas of the practice

Desired Candidate Profile

The following experience & skill sets are desired in an applicant:

- Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting & Auditing Standards & Indian Companies Legislation

- Significant Accounting and financial analytics experience

- Good knowledge about provisions of audit and taxation laws

- Comfortable with ERP and other financial reporting systems

- Ability to create planning and approach document

- Ability to motivate juniors while functioning as a good team player.

- Ability to deal with senior client personnel independently.

- Independently drafting reports and deliverables

- Strong written and oral communication skills (Inter personal skills).

Education-

UG: Any Graduate, B.Com - Commerce
