Roles & Responsibilities:
- Must have an excellent knowledge of Indian GAAP with working knowledge of differences from Indian GAAP to Ind AS.
- Must be able to apply relevant accounting standards, independently execute Ind AS engagements while also researching into complex technical accounting issues.
- Supervise, mentor and develop junior staff, provide timely and effective mentoring and training
- Assist in business development efforts and collaborate with other divisions within the firm to build cross-functional relationships
- Build, maintain, and enhance client relationships
- Assurance Review of the financial statements
- Ensure that the work is planned, organized and performed by self and team by guiding them and performing reviews on deliverables to ensure quality and timely delivery of work
- Demonstrate industry competence and clarity of communication
- Develop self by participating in and developing others by facilitating training on assurance and accounting standards
- Preparing an engagement plan by defining time limits and allotting responsibilities to team members
- Work under strict timelines and at client locations
Desired Profile:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant
- Min 5-8 Years' Experience Post Qualification in Assurance Practice
- Client facing experience preferred
- Willingness to travel
Skill Set:
- Should have handled statutory audit assignments earlier
- Must have strong knowledge of auditing & accounting standards
- Strong exposure in auditing manufacturing, retail, pharmaceutical industries etc. Good presentation skills and ability to respond promptly
- Good communication skills (Verbal & Written)
- Good team management and interpersonal skills
