Manager/ Associate Director/Director - Risk Management
The Role Responsibilities :
- You will be sourcing the data (FCC and Non-FCC) for model development and monitoring in the CFCC domain. The models will be prescriptive and predictive in nature.
- You will do the data mapping between the source data (provider) and the CFCC datamarts (consumer)
- You will be responsible for the Data SLAs between the data provider and data consumer
- You will be responsible for maintaining the data flows from ultimate source to the data consumer
- You will be responsible for using all the tools required for the BCBS-239 Data Quality Compliance.
- You will maintain all required artefacts in the repositories used in BCBS-239 program Compliance.
- You will be responsible for physically reconciling the data and ensure the data quality attributes are within the agreed tolerances in the datamarts
- You will be providing MIS and dashboards to identify the data quality health including exception reports
- You will be responsible for basic data wrangling using database tools like Hive and Dataiku
- You will be responsible for using visual tools like Tableau to interpret the data in a language that can be easily understood by business stakeholders
- You will assist with the development and maintenance of required project documentation including but not limited to business requirements, test cases, test scripts, testing results and any other related deliverables or documents
- You will establish and maintain communication channels necessary to deliver on project milestones
- You will be working with data engineers to prepare and integrate data from various data sources
- You will be helping data engineers and ML engineers with model deployment
- You will prepare periodic reports and presentations for senior managers and other key stakeholders and coordinate meetings for refinement and approvals

- Awareness and understanding of the process universe in the CFCC domain and ensures appropriate CFCC and Group processes are followed in the execution of day to day activities
- Drive the development and maintenance of required project documentation including: business requirements, functional requirements, technical specifications and test plans
- Suggest and implement process improvement and data collection opportunities
Risk Management : Ensure a full understanding of the risk and control environment in area of responsibility.

- Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework in which the firm operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role

Key Stakeholders :
- Work with senior members of the CFCC team and wider business to identify risks and steps to mitigate them.
- Work with senior members of the CFCC team and wider business to communicate discrepancies in expected thresholds in models and work collaboratively in order to remediate issues as they arise.
- Supports global regulatory interaction, particularly in relation to requests for information from regulators.
- Ensure that business relationships with data providers are healthy and are in the best interests of RAA's objectives.

Our Ideal Candidate :
- Bachelors or Advanced degree in business, engineering, finance, accounting, or social sciences with excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the techno-functional area with total of 5 years experience in data, technology, and analytics space.
- Experience in relational databases (Hadoop/HIVE) using SQL
- Experience in data visualisation
- Ensuring data obtained from model source systems and model outputs feeding in to monitoring processes is accurate, robust, and fit for purpose.
- Strong English oral and written communications skills with keen attention to details
- Strong skills in Hadoop/Hive, SQL (or other equivalent tool), Dataiku, Microsoft Office & Tableau/Power BI. DevOps skillset - Bitbucket, Jenkins is an added advantage.
- Excellent collaborative and stakeholder skills and a desire to work as a part of a high functioning team of financial intelligence specialists.
NICE TO HAVE :
- Experience with ETL and data engineering
- Experience with Spark and other big data technologies
- Project management skills preferably gained in other global financial institutions.
- Working knowledge in Fraud Risk Management & Financial Crime Compliance domains in Bank
- Experience in DQMF and BCBS-239 compliance
