Manager / AVP - PMO For MNC
Must have skills looking into candidates : Regulatory projects, AGILE, Axiom, waterfall, finance projects
Experience/Certifications required:
- CA preferred. Alternately, B.Com with CPA / ICWA/ MBA Finance.
- Technology qualifications/certifications will be good to have
- Peer bank experience essential with good background & understanding of BFSI/Investment Banking Operations in India
- Excellent communication experience and comfort in dealing with senior stakeholders
- Overall post-qualification experience of around 10-12 years with about 7-8 years of relevant experience in Project Management, Business Analysis & Test Management across regulatory projects & business process re-engineering, preferably in the Financial Services industry
- Willingness for travel and work in different time zones to support clients
Detailed Role & Responsibilities
Business Analysis - Finance and Regulatory projects:
- Engaging with project managers and business subject matter experts to gather requirements
- Acquiring an understanding of current state processes and business context
- Providing accurate and timely updates to the project manager and work stream leads
- Facilitating and driving workshops to gather, feedback and review business requirements
- Documenting and owning a business and functional requirements
- Documenting and owning business acceptance test cases Managing documentation approval process
- Working closely with the technical analysts to translate business and functional requirements into technical specifications
- Good exposure to analytics and reporting tools like Axiom, TM1, Moody's analytics, SAS, SAP, COGNOS, SQL, VBA, MS Access, Advanced Excel, etc
Technical skills :
- Proven experience as a business analyst, test manager or junior project manager working on business process change projects and/or new platform implementations
- Ability to get up to speed quickly regarding system architecture and testing needs
- Experience with writing testing approach documents and executing plans in partnership with multiple teams across business, technology & change
- Experience within financial institutions, ideally having worked on finance or regulatory projects.
- Ability to coordinate multiple assignments and work independently
- Strong experience in project documentation and experience in all stages of project life cycles including analysis, design, build and test support and implementation
- Demonstrated stakeholder engagement and management skills
- A flexible, proactive, solution-oriented approach
- Prince2 or PMI qualifications are an advantage
- Demonstrated ability to motivate, influence and gain commitment at all levels of the organization
- Strong facilitation, oral and written communication skills. Effective presentation skills Enthusiastic, energetic with excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong PowerPoint /Process/Systems/Data Mapping skills - well-developed ability to define and document processes and capture process/system/data requirements end-to-end,
- MS Visio skills
