The Sector Focus is the following:&nbsp; - Financial services delivery infrastructure - Healthcare including diagnostics and service delivery - Clean energy covering production and energy service companies - Agriculture supply chain - Education and livelihood promotion for low income community - Logistics, water, sanitation, waste recycling etc. Business Context:&nbsp; - According to a study undertaken by the World Economic Forum, over 99 per cent of India's private limited companies are Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). These are the companies that would deliver sustainable large-scale impact to help resolve India's developmental challenges. Despite presence of banks that lend to MSMEs through focused products and teams, and specialized financial services companies that lend to MSMEs, there is a funding gap of USD 198 billion in the Indian MSME sector. Key Result Areas : - Responsible for sourcing new clients and maintaining relationships with both new and existing clients. - The work would involve managing a team of analysts, client meetings, site visits, evaluation of prospective customer and market, understanding clients- requirements, structuring proposals/deals within company's credit guidelines. - Ensure portfolio growth by prospecting for new clients and strengthening relationships with existing clients, predominantly early stage, and high growth companies with socially responsible businesses which make an impact. - Appraisal of companies for fund based exposure and structured finance products as per credit policy of the company. - Performing detailed background reference checks on prospective Clients, including but not limited to suppliers, customers, and competitors of the company. - Preparation of detailed cash flow projections, proposal notes and ensuring clearance from credit sanctioning committees and approvals. - Follow-up with internal teams for credit risk clearance, documentation, disbursement of sanctioned cases including documentation and security creation. - Manage the portfolio of SME business clients by regularly evaluating the portfolio companies via periodic data analysis, visits with the clients sites across India with a view to ensure that the quality of portfolio is maintained at optimum levels . Person Specification : - Bachelors/ Master's degree in finance/ accounting; CA/MBA preferred. - Proven ability to perform financial statement analysis and recommend credit proposals. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially in handling spreadsheets. - Approximately 2-8 years of proven track record in similar fields. - Compensation would be commensurate to the relevant experience and would be benchmarked/slightly higher than the industry.
