Manager/ Asst. Manager - Program and Alliance Management

- You will be responsible for implementing best practice business initiatives to drive future growth and further enhance delivery via the innovative Co's hybrid (externalised and internal research) drug discovery model

- Manage business operations and scientific project management and tracking.

- Manage external alliances to ensure adherence to contractual obligations for reporting and governance

- The successful candidate will play a critical role in all aspects of Co's internal and external project related operations and management and will be key to overall Co's performance.

- Provision of clear communications materials and records around external opportunity strategy, triage, review and status.

- To support in managing existing and new partnerships for contract/commercial manufacturing and licensure, RFPs, execution of projects and business related Agreements.

- The objective of this position is to contribute in market research and analysis, identification and screening of potential partners, smooth execution of projects, coordination with cross-functional departments of Co's Labs and third parties for all existing and new projects.

- To assist in managing internal and external communication with existing partners.

- To support in execution and archiving of Business and Project Agreements.

- To conduct secondary market research of all existing and new projects in order to develop competitor's intelligence and business landscape.

- To assist in discovering or exploring potential business opportunities and to make initial contact (cold calling, telephone prospecting), to accurately qualify the prospect and establish needs.

- To prepare business presentations (status updates on projects and partners)

- Development of project plans, budgets and timelines

- Actively monitor project plans to keep projects on track in terms of technical and quality deliverables, resources, time-lines, and budget

- Scheduling meetings, drafting agenda and minutes of key project and business meetings/teleconferences

- Other day-to-day activities related to project and business aspects

Qualification, Experience & Skill Sets:

1. Graduate degree in Science/Engineering/Pharmacy, with a full time MBA/ equivalent required. PMP/ CIPM certification preferred.

2. 3-5 years of proven hands on experience in project, contracts and alliance management preferably in the field of vaccine research and development or global health or life sciences (biotechnology/ pharmaceutical) industry

3. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Outlook & Google search

4. Hands of experience in conducting market research, analysing and interpret business information to derive appropriate results

5. Have experience in reviewing basic Business and Project Agreements.

6. Ability to coordinate and working with cross functional teams to derive results and successes to both internal and external stakeholders

7. Ability to communicate project progress and risks to senior management in a clear and timely manner (via monthly reports, dashboards, regular updates etc.)

8. Positive attitude and be adaptable to a dynamic - start-up- type of environment without losing focus on business goals.

9. Has experience of working through virtual and/or matrix team models and demonstrated ability to act independently through complex cross-functional matrices and international sites.

10. Accurate and precise communication skills are necessary with experience of international partnerships with multiple international contributors to individual projects

11. Project management experience in biopharma/healthcare or healthcare related consulting required.

12. Excellent general problem solving and project management skills and a proven ability to manage multiple projects and to simplify and organize complex tasks
