Manager/Assistant Manager - Pricing Analysis - Telecom

Role Purpose -

Pricing Analyst creates commercial propositions for enterprise clients that meet customer's as well as internal business requirements. He/she proactively collects, collates and validates inputs from sales team(s) understands and articulates commercial options during the preparation of bid pricing to account managers. The Pricing Function work as a multi-disciplinary team across the sales organisation, providing pricing activities on single country business opportunities that range from lower to medium complexity, scope and value. The team supports deals for all products and for all sales segments. Pricing Analyst understands customer's requirements, may assists sales teams in creating pricing strategy for deals, structures commercial propositions and makes recommendations all along the life-cycle of an offer from qualification until contract signature.

- Gain business knowledge on products, services, billing structure and systems

- Analysis of commercial/pricing information and articulation of the results to key stakeholders.

- Advice and influence key stakeholders on shaping the commercial strategy

- Collaborate within the virtual team to ensure consistency

- Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders Bid, Finance, Service, Legal etc. as well as with the wider commercial team

Accountability:

- Create commercial propositions that differentiate Vodafone and aligned with the customer and internal business objectives

- Deliver customer usage information in a timely and accurate manner to the business in order to analyse profitability for forecasting and planning

- Create and consolidate Finance templates, create customer savings profiles, competitive analysis profiles, customer pricing templates

- Translate business input (deal sheet) into a common P&L

- Provide required documentation and presentations to support the core bid team, accompanied by a clear articulation of the proposal and its key issues and risks

- Complete data crunching activities to support Major Deal pricing activities

- Complete modelling exercise for different variety of our propositions

Approve pricing propositions within own governance thresholds.
