Manager/Assistant Manager - Internal Auditing

Responsibilities:

Internal Auditing Process:

- Possess extensive experience in the internal auditing process.

- Conduct risk and regulatory strategy reviews, gap analysis, and impact assessments.

Methodologies and Approaches:

- Demonstrate a basic understanding of methodologies and approaches in internal auditing.

Analytical Thinking and Project Management:

- Apply analytical thinking and project management skills to develop innovative approaches in auditing.

- Effectively manage internal audit projects to ensure timely and accurate completion.

Team Development:

- Support and contribute to the development of the internal audit team.

- Foster a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment.

Domain Knowledge:

- Possess strong domain knowledge, including key business processes such as O2C, P2P, HR payroll, production, legal, and statutory compliances.

Control Rationalization and Optimization:

- Understand control rationalization, optimization, effectiveness, and efficiency.

- Identify opportunities for enhancing internal control frameworks.

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:

- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Utilize strong data analytics skills and knowledge of advanced analytical tools (an advantage).

MS Office and ERP Knowledge:

- Have knowledge of MS Office applications.

- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JDE.

Team Management:

- Effectively manage and lead a team of internal auditors.

- Foster a collaborative team culture focused on achieving audit objectives.

Requirements:

- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. (Advanced degree or certification such as CIA, CISA, or CPA preferred)

- 3+ years of extensive experience in internal auditing.

- Excellent understanding of risk assessment and regulatory compliance.

- Strong project management skills with the ability to drive audit projects to successful completion.

- Advanced analytical skills, including proficiency in data analytics tools (an advantage).

- Proficient in MS Office applications and familiarity with ERP systems.

- Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team effectively.
