Manager/ Assistant Manager (Indirect Taxation)

- Responsible for Indirect taxes, especially GST & handle indirect tax compliances and reporting. Lead and prioritize Indirect Tax Group and other Company resources leading audits, handling and supervising tax litigation matters.

- Advising business on indirect tax implications on various transactions & tax reporting and compliance

- You will be working closely with Treasury, Corporate Finance teams within the Company.

- Making recommendations on sophisticated transactions from indirect tax technical, compliance and reporting standpoint

- Resolve indirect tax opportunities, lead related initiative, engagement and implementation process.

- Ensure in timely and quality indirect tax reporting, and timely payment of indirect taxes, as well as effective utilization of tax credits.

- Develop further effective and well controlled indirect tax.

- Influence and lead business partners; build organizational technical competence.

- Supporting the business from tax technical angles in their strategies and initiatives.

- Further development of internal tax compliance and reporting processes on need basis, and initiate applying technology enabled solutions in close partnership with the business and tax compliance organization.

Qualification And Experience:

1. CA or CWA with 3-4 years of Experience in Indirect taxes with a Manufacturing Organisation or BIG5

2. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and a strong affinity in tax and accounting proficiencies.

3. Effective communication and social skills.

4. You can make hard decisions using all the information you have, but also confident enough to go with your gut.

5. Being a teammate and being able to collaborate well with other functions as OneTeam.

6. Ability to initiate, own and lead projects, and implement assignments in tight timelines, taking end to end accountability.
