Manager - Asset Management

Objective:

Working closely with various teams in Tabreed India and with Asset Management team in Tabreed UAE to monitor and improve the performance of Tabreed's regional assets/ projects/ subsidiaries that are under execution or operation. Single point of contact for Tabreed management for all matters pertaining to existing projects, including periodic reporting and analysis of approved budgets versus actual; and advising management on identifying and locating/relocating resources as needed. Being a single point of contact for the client for existing projects, maintaining a cordial relationship enabling more projects from the same client, managing additional capacity expansion and connections in the same project

Description:

Financial management

- Ensure regional businesses' reporting is timely and correctly reflects the activities, achievements and risks of these companies, as well as fulfilling the requirements of the shareholders

- Develop budgets, forecasts, long term plans in conjunction with regional teams

- Coordination with banks to optimise financing for the regional assets and ensure that loans are compliant with banking covenants

Business development


- Review financial models for new projects

- Negotiate financing of new projects with local lenders.

- Take part in commercial negotiations with potential clients

- Review legal documentation on new projects (in liaison with Tabreed BD team and Legal team)

- Work with Projects and Engineering departments to develop technical solutions for new projects

- Produce analysis of risks associated with new projects

- Present new projects or capacity expansion or new connections or additional budget requirement in Tabreed's Investment Committees for approvals

Customer management

- Ensure services provided to customers are in line with agreed Cooling Services Agreements

- Monitor accounts receivables and propose solutions to reduce payment delays

O&M Interface

- Promote strong HSEQ culture in regional joint ventures and subsidiaries

- Act as a link between Tabreed O&M and local teams to ensure that regular maintenance plans are in place, plant upgrades where needed are carefully managed and unplanned incidents are dealt with promptly with suitable operations and technical advice

Corporate governance

- Implement good governance practises in subsidiaries and joint ventures by ensuring the existence of and compliance with schedules of authority, policies and procedures and board charters where appropriate

- Follow-up on external and internal audits to ensure that shortcomings are corrected quickly after they are identified.

Shareholder relations

- Develop good working relationships with shareholders and joint venture partners to facilitate transparent communications and alignment of objectives (as far as possible)

Policies & Procedures

- Follows all relevant Department/Unit policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner

- Ensuring the organization adheres to legal frameworks in areas such as discipline & grievance, redundancy, and employment law

Health, Safety & Environment

- Ensure compliance to all relevant health, safety, and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the department to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, and a responsible environmental attitude

Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in financial management, economics or a related discipline

- Master in Business Administration (MBA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) or CMA or CWA or ACCA or CPA

Minimum Experience:

- 7 - 10 years of relevant experience in renewables, utilities, real estate, or in investment banking, private equity, consulting - with exposure to renewables, utilities and/or real estate

- Export to asset management, FP&A or development experience in sectors involving large capital investment decisions

- Hands-on experience in financial analysis, modelling, investment committee presentations, financing and budgeting
