Manager-Analytics-Retail
This is regarding a job opportunity with a leading Management Consulting firm
- The primary responsibility for the role is to help sell and deliver on Analytics engagements for our clients in this industry. The Manager is also expected to contribute towards building ‘Thought Capital’ and conducting value chain analysis for the CPG industry (all aspects including sales & Distribution, Marketing and Product portfolio).
- The successful candidate will have strong consultative and business skills in addition to quantitative ability. As well as also be exposed to the challenges of using statistics in a business setting, such as incomplete data, biased data, large data sets, low signal-to-noise ratios, high variance and multiple objective functions
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop methodologies to support Analytical project execution for Retail clients
- Ability to solution any analytics project in Retail domain
- Supervise statistical models creation and other adhoc analysis to support clients
- Apply appropriate techniques, such as exploratory data analysis, regression, bootstrapping, trees, cluster analysis, survival analysis and so on
- Develop and articulate strategic recommendations based on rigorous data analysis
Requirements:
- 7-10 years of overall experience, including 3-4 years of quantitative analysis for Retail Prefer candidate with hands on experience in building statistical models.
- A stint in business side (pre analytics experience) will be preferred
- Should have consulting skills/ project management experience
- Exposure to US Markets is preferred
