Position Description:
- A permanent role primarily to manage and lead a team of FATCA-CRS analysts performing the review of data and documents, screening & recording of information, data collation and preparation of reports as per the applicable regulatory requirements
Job Responsibilities:
- Shall lead a team of 5 to 6 members and report to the Head of Local Office
- Demonstrate a proactive and detail oriented approach to work
- Provide supervision for the team to perform due diligence and reporting tasks
- Supervise the clean-up exercises, backfills, or other adhoc tasks as and when instructed
- Ensure the team understand their responsibilities, and are adequately equipped with training, checklists etc, and the exceptions are escalated to Regulatory Compliance team promptly
- Ensure all BAU tasks are performed as per the prescribed process notes and templates, checklists, form validation checks, etc.
- Ensure setup of documents appropriately into Company systems and setup meta data wrt such documents
- Ensure timely, accurate and reasonable data entry into Company systems
- Ensure regular reconciliation and alignment of data, documents and information across Company systems
- Ensure timely collation of all required data and accurate compilation of all required reports
- Ensure maintenance of data and docs gathered as part of due diligence, periodic reviews, changes in circumstances, with appropriate audit trail
- Participate in the performance of system UAT during upgrades / enhancements
- Engage in roll-out of new products and regulatory changes as guided by the regulatory compliance team
- Provide strong operational management support to the team, continually assess and mitigate risks
- Own the responsibility for errors and breaches, if any. Take prompt actions to escalate them, analyze the causes, resolve them and take preventive measures to prevent recurrence in future.
- Work closely with and take direct instructions from Regulatory Compliance team covering FATCA CRS
Skills and Experience:
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), in English
- Attention to detail, process oriented, experienced in management of critical operations
- At least 5 years prior experience in FATCA-CRS team
- Strong leadership qualities and team-leading experience
- Strong investigative skills
- Proficient in Word and Excel
- Good prioritization, organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Self-motivated, desire to be challenged and eager to learn
Educational / Professional Qualifications
- Degree holder
- 5+ years of relevant experience is preferable
