Manager - Analytics - Business Intelligence Unit - BFSI
Key Responsibilities
- Executive responsibility Business Intelligence Unit (BIU) and Analytics team facilitates various data driven business decisions, performance reporting, product design and process innovations. The team also acts as custodian of customer information and is an enabler for implementing various customer facing decisions.
- Team BIU comprises of analysts and team leaders who use the knowledge of analytics, statistics, economics and technology to solve business problems. The team also looks after a number of customer relationship management systems to deploy the strategies developed through analytics.
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Understanding Business problems, devising and implementing data modelling based solutions to achieve business objectives. The projects will typically be across products and business verticals within the Bank.
- Designing and implementing analytics solutions like credit scorecards, optimization, trend analysis & forecasting, reports, customer campaigns, fraud detection models, etc.
- Identifying the data required for the project and creating capabilities to source and process this data
- Report formulation & performance management
Functional Skills
- Strong analytical (numeric and logical) skills coupled with ability to make decisions.
- Sound knowledge of information systems and reasonable comfort level with learning and using new software solutions. Experience with analytics tools is desired but not mandatory (e.g. SAS, R, Python).
- Coding and development of advanced analytics solutions to optimize business decisions and processes
- Work with new tools to improve descriptive, predictive and prescriptive analytics, discovery of new technical challenges that can be solved with existing and emerging big data hardware and software solutions
- Staying in touch with latest trends in Analytics and Big Data tools/ technologies to implement such solutions in the Bank.

- Confident with ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work with multiple assignments
- A self-starter with flexibility to both work independently and as part of a team
