Manager - Analytics & BI

This is a great opportunity for an Analytics and BI Manager looking to join a very fast-growing enterprise in Bangalore. Given our recent $10 million round of funding, Babajob has ambitious growth plans, and as Manager of Analytics & BI, you will help create the roadmap towards achieving our growth agenda.

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that everyone in the company has the necessary data and information for strategic planning and smooth daily operations. You will be required to work across the organization with various business team owners to determine and meet their reporting and analytics needs.

The role will include developing and maintaining reporting frameworks, selecting and building required tools, and also managing a team of business/data analysts to ensure timely and systematic high-quality reporting and analytics. Your insights will drive core business decisions around pricing, operations and marketing.

Key Responsibilities Include:

- Plan and implement the overall analytics and business intelligence strategy

- Develop and lead analytical projects to understand drivers of jobseeker and customer acquisition, retention, and engagement

- Work with business team leaders to identify information needs and develop reporting mechanisms; primary partners include the management team, SME and enterprise sales, lead generation, marketing, and recruitment

- Identify opportunities to drive marketing efforts around jobseeker acquisition and employer acquisition and conversion

- Conduct analyses around individual performance measurement and optimize employee incentive structure

- Determine new opportunities to improve business processes through data analytics

- Partner with the Technology team and external vendors as necessary to deliver a stable and highly available reporting platform

- Hire, train, and supervise Analytics team and ensure that team meets the reporting and analytical needs of the business users

- Oversee all aspects of analytics and business intelligence projects

- Develop and maintain reporting and analytical tools, and KPI dashboards

Experience / Required Qualifications:

- Minimum 2 years experience as a business analyst

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical ability

- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and SQL

- Passion for analyzing data and drawing results and insights for overall organizational benefit

- Detail oriented with the ability to evaluate data and challenge its accuracy

- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills

- Flexible nature, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadli
