Purpose of Department:Responsible for COO deliverables with end to end report generation, report comprehension and data management of Risk reporting for the Group. This information is used to facilitate strategy development by the Risk committees, board members, CRO and COOs for region / country and group.

Along with delivery of reports with 100% quality and TAT, the most important responsibility is to inculcate process efficiency with automation and standardization, resulting in cost savings for the department.

The team primary responsibilitiesinclude data analysis, data auditing & validation, report development, report comprehension and project delivery.

Job Description:

- Use Group/Regional data source systems – Cognos, TM1, data bases like DB2 andvarious data marts, for data cleaning, collation, auditing to produce strategic MI reports and to perform the necessary analysis to highlight key findings such as breaches from key risk parameters within Risk Strategy.

- Coordinate reporting hand ins/outs with respective Business/Country/Region/Group Risk teams.

- Assist onshore team with creating standardized templates & testing and rollout as per the Risk committee pack reporting requirements.

- Continuous review of processes with the objective of improving the service delivery timeframes and identify areas of improvement.

- Establish and maintain effective relationship with business areas and identify areas of service improvements by implementing regular calls and feedback mechanism.

- Influence and escalate key customer issues in an effective way to ensure timely resolution

- Effective communication with the team members on organization strategy and goals required for the respective roles and responsibilities.

- Create an environment within the team which fosters free sharing of knowledge & ideas

- Adherence to Group policies, audit, controls, and compliance requirements including but not limited to Declaration of secrecy, data protection act, health, safety and security, clear desk policy

- Lead and ensure operational effectiveness for all the Risk packs for a particular region, global business etc.

- Manage a team of analysts, guide and help the team with their career development & progression

Skills/Experience Required:

- 6 + years of relevant work experience in Reporting & Analysis

- The role/ designation for the position, would be decided depending on – performance in interview, relevant years of experience and relevant skills identified through the interview

- Bachelors/Master’s degree in Economics, Operations Research or any other relevant technical / numerical discipline will be preferred

- Proven ability to project management, manage migrations of processes and exposure to diverse/multi-culture work environments with strong organization, time management and prioritization skills

- Excellent communication skills and presentation skills are mandatory, as are good tact and diplomacy, as the role requires relationship management with other individuals and teams within the Group

- Orientation towards Quality (Six Sigma/Lean methodology) and technical bent of mind

- Good working knowledge in MS Office Suite, MS Powerpoint & Excel, Report generation tools is a key to the role.

- Working knowledge of Cognos, TM1, QlikView, SQL and any other databases is a plus

- Team leading experience is a must
