Purpose of Department:
- Information Management team is responsible for supporting Data Management, Business Intelligence Reporting and Infrastructure needs of large global bank across one or more geographical regions for Collection Business.
The work primarily involve but not restricted to:
- Design and develop analytical solutions for Collections Businesses which will help business drive informed decisions
- Developing Data marts, warehouses using various ETL technologies
- Building Reporting framework, end user information delivery applications using BI technologies
- Candidate will be responsible to provide functional & technical leadership to multiple teams supporting Global Information Management Business, to ensure execution of projects/ analysis as per the agreed timelines and with accuracy and quality from the teams.
Job Description:
- Strong understanding of financial industry and good business specialized in Collection business and knowledge in personal financial services covering deposit, wealth, cards and mortgage products of Retail and commercial portfolios.
- Manage projects, Understand dynamic business requirements, Articulate to diverse team of individuals spread across geographies, Plan, Segregate duties and Drive the project with end-to-end ownership
- Lead a team in the development and/or implementation of Analytical solutions in Global Standard Infrastructure.
- Develop & drive best practices across the teams in the assigned function.
- Stake holding with Business and technology Partners.
- Responsible for onsite & offshore co-ordination.
- Assist higher management in monitoring performance of the Analysts and share the feedback with the Analyst’s Manager
- Responsible for hiring, training, and on boarding team members.
- Completes any other duties /assignments from ACOE and GR.
Skills/Experience Required:
- 4 year Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from reputed University with concentration on engineering
- At least 5+ years of Experience focused primarily in the Banking & Financial Services Domain; At least 3+ years within technology or information management field
- Knowledge of in any one or combination of tools such as SAS, SQL, Cognos, Actuate, DB2, Oracle, Control-m across any of the platforms UNIX, mainframe or Windows
- Person should be a subject matter expert (SME) in financial services areas specialized in Collections domain with knowledge of personal financial services covering deposits and mortgage products across Retail and Commercial portfolios.
- Good track record of managing varied business clients / stakeholders across geographies, generating consensus and conflict management.
- Exceptionally strong project management, problem-solving , inter-personal and communication skills
- Excellent communication skills to deal with business/technology partners and articulate the team’s work and accomplishments to various levels of leadership.
