Our client is a leading audio systems manufacturing and distribution company, whose products sell in major electronics showrooms and ecommerce sites across the country. It has a turnover of nearly Rs.30 crores and is a favorite among majority customers.

More than a decade old, they have a variety of lifestyle products ranging from speakers that are world-class, headphones and soundbars. The founder has brought with him 21 years of experience working with IT and Telecom industry, providing the right direction to the organisation.

As an Alliances and BD Manager, you will be developing relationships with ecommerce companies, electronic chain stores like Croma etc. in order to increase sales.

What you will do - 

- Owning and managing the whole P&L by keeping a close eye on Cost of Acquisition and activation goals

- Market study and mapping to discover new strategic partnership

- Creating and managing innovative and low-cost lead to conversion solutions and processes

- Increasing share of wallet in each of the existing customers by improving relationship at all levels

- Razor sharp focus on making customer journey simpler to ensure maximum conversion and consistently reducing frictions

- Ensuring that the new relationships are smoothly on-boarded onto the platform in coordination with internal and external stakeholders

- Fostering a long term relationship with current and prospective ecommerce clients

- Reporting and Monitoring performance through RMs

- Performing Product Research along with product team and coming out with innovative solutions and products solving customers problems

- Building close working relationships with the marketing team and the regional teams in order to help elevate local market partnerships

- Developing and maintaining a strong influencer network to be leveraged for the company's marketing needs

- Developing a diverse assortment of external partnerships with leading e-commerce companies and chain stores that will strategically further the goals of the company by providing brand appreciation, business growth and Alliance originated revenue

- Meeting with the clients on a regular basis to ensure quick closure and resolution of sales and queries

- Updating the clients regularly regarding new and upcoming products on offer

- Keeping up-to-date on the market developments in the tech/ lifestyle accessory space.

Candidate Profile:

What you need to have:

- Minimum 2 years of sales experience

- Sales people from similar background - selling to ecommerce or electronic stores.

- Proven experience in strategic business development, Adding/managing Alliances is mandatory

- Out of the Box thinking

- Creative powerhouse with a proven marketing and business development background

- Visionary, with ability to translate in to actionable roadmap

- Proven negotiation skills, strong communication and presentation skills

- Analytical bent of mind & strong judgmental attributes

- Must be self-motivated, have a strong entrepreneurial spirit, be adaptable to business growth fluctuations, work comfortably and effortlessly in group settings, be a persuasive and charismatic individual, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and work well under the pressure of stringent deadlines.

- Needs to demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, portraying an ability to move and inspire a large group in a unified direction and vision.
