About the role:

Our Global Analytics Hub is the backbone of our 120+ person strong analytics practice globally. The Analytics Hub functions as a center of excellence in creating efficiencies and driving standardization across all Essence Mediacom Analytics teams in North America, Europe and APAC. The Hub is involved in multiple areas of the business including media campaign analytics, tool development & automation and is critical to the continued success of our Global Analytics offering.

This role in the Global Analytics Hub Team will play a pivotal role in campaign execution, data management, campaign measurement, reporting and delivering insights that enable us to innovate the work we deliver at Essence Mediacom. You will be liaising with regional teams and external vendors to integrate data from various platforms, standardizing it and supporting the analytics team on multiple work streams /projects.

Some of the things we'd like you to do:

- Harness your deep understanding of basic statistics (significance testing, correlation analysis, confidence intervals, descriptive statistics) to support the solutions.

- Use statistical modeling techniques (regression, classification) to extract business value from campaign data.

- Utilize programming languages (Python or R), statistical packages (SciPy), and Google tools (BigQuery, Tensorflow) to prototype data-driven solutions

- Responsible for recommending and developing technical solutions with guidance from senior leadership

- Work with the account Analytics lead to define the project scope, project setup and the level of efforts for delivering analytics projects.

- Responsible for building the relationship with Analytics lead on your accounts and for gaining a deep understanding of the client challenges

- Work with key stakeholders to assess project needs and ensure best-in-class work is being delivered. Collaborate with regional leadership on process development, process improvement and ensure compliance to these processes.

- Work across, and with, all bands, disciplines, and offices, ensuring continuous collaboration and progression.

A bit about yourself:

- 3- 6 years industry experience in an analytics focused role

- Degree in an applied quantitative field- data science/mathematics/statistics/ engineering/economics/business management/computer science, or other scientific and business research

- Having understanding of marketing campaigns, their objectives, marketing measurement techniques , prior experience in digital agency/consulting

- Proficient coding skills in statistical software packages (R, Python SciPy) and programming languages (SQL, Python), MS office tools , especially advanced excel

- Experience in owning and delivering analytics projects containing a strong subset of: correlation, regression, significance testing, A/B tests (randomized control trials), supervised machine learning to solve client problems

- Practical understanding of data science techniques , Statistical analysis and modeling

- Passionate about data analysis, ability to troubleshoot data anomalies, pulling data from several sources, integrating it to create data layers/ repositories for data science models

- Ability to transform raw data into business insights that are useful for decision making and strategic planning

- Logical thinking and problem solving skills

- Strong communication skills (verbal & written) and stakeholder management

- Adherence to quality & ability to plan & prioritize the work

- Experience using or building reports with business intelligence tools will be plus
