This position is responsible for managing utilities/facilities and communications infrastructure, maintenance and upkeep, contract management, vendor management, space management, outsourcing non-core activities, catering and compliance. This position is mainly responsible for managing new facilities projects and owns and drives the budgets and resources for the Mumbai office.

Your key responsibilities
1. Responsibility for the planning, development, and implementation of effective facilities policies and procedures.
- Handle the short and long-term plans associated with space and facility planning and manage short and long term budget projections.
- Execute established operational goals and conduct periodic reviews of existing policies and procedures to ensure maximum efficiency.
2. Assume responsibility for the effective operation of Company facilities.
- Manage acquisitions for Corporate Real Estate and handling leasing and subleasing contracts for company real estate.
- Coordinate and arrange third party services of maintenance contractors, suppliers, vendors, etc.
- Ensure the security of all Company facilities.
- Manage space planning. Ensure that the facility layout will accommodate present and future operational and space requirements.
- Ensure that facilities are well maintained and in good repair. Develop, implement and direct preventive maintenance procedures as appropriate.
3. Responsible for budgeting and compliance
- Financial forecasting and generation and updation of budgets and schedules for facilities expenditures.
- Ensure compliance with legal regulations.
- Develop and implement cost saving initiatives against benchmarks and drive appropriate initiatives.
4. Manage vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure that equipment and services are of acceptable quality, competitively priced, and delivered on time.
Desired Experience:
1. 7-10 years of experience in sectors like Hospitality / FMCG / Internet / Technology
2. Preferred Qualification: Post Graduate in Hotel Management preferred
3. Required knowledge and expertise - detailed knowledge of appropriate project management and maintenance models. Exposure to new facilities / transition projects is a must.
4. Significant commercial contractual knowledge.
5. Ability to drive significant cultural and business process change.
6. Successful senior stakeholder and supplier management - internal and external.
7. A solid track record of having actively contributed to driving value through cost efficiency and his/her service orientation and facilities management acumen.
8. Knowledge of budgeting, service contracts, and leasing agreements.
9. Ability to work under pressure, tight timelines, managing last minute requests.
10. Should be able to think out of the box when required, have bias for action, demonstrate executive excellence, have high level of ownership and resilience.
