Manager - Actuary

We are urgently hiring for Manager-Actuary profile in Mumbai Location for leading Insurance company. We are specifically looking for those candidates who have cleared at least 4 CT papers and want to pursue career in this field only.

Principal Accountabilities

1. Assist in performing ad-hoc and periodic portfolio level analysis (including building of statistical models /scores) such as cross-sell & up-sell, customer profitability, customer retention, early warning indicators and provide market intelligence for the purpose of business projects, planning and forecasting.

2. Undertake various data gathering, analyze documentation, carry out risk based capital modeling exercise for reserving and pricing.

3. Maintain appropriate actuarial reserving methodologies for estimation of levels of IBNR, premium deficiency, UPR and other unpaid claims liabilities along with uncertainty around the central estimates.

4. Development of appropriate systems and procedures to ensure use of accurate data and subsequently produce appropriate analyses.

5. Analyzing and monitoring the performance and pricing dynamics across the spectrum of products.

6. Generate daily MIS and monthly IRDA reports using Cognos. Assist in Financial Condition Reporting to IRDA on an annual basis.
