About our Client - Our client is a fortune 500 pharmaceutical business having a presence in more than 150 countries they are looking to growth their operations in India. To develop a strong base for a fast paced growth in India they are currently looking at a Manager - Accounts and Taxation to spearhead their Finance operations based out of the corporate office in Mumbai.

Job Description - Reporting into the Chief Financial Officer and managing a team of qualified professionals you will be responsible for:

- Managing the statutory compliance - direct taxation, Income tax and liaising with auditors

- Formulating annual business plan process, preparing monthly estimates and forecasts, reviewing and monitoring of financial results

- Scrutiny of accounts, bank reconciliation and monitoring of advances

- Finalisation of books and control on all payments

The Successful Candidate - You are a Chartered Accountant with at least 8 to 10 years of post qualification experience in a Pharmaceutical or manufacturing business. You have strong exposure to an SAP environment and expertise in accounting function (IGAAP ), financial planning, direct taxation and audit.You have excellent communication, analytical & negotiation skills and come across as a business leader ready to take on the next challenge.
