About Our Client

Our client is a global leader in the specialty pharmaceutical space. Having a global revenue of more than $500million and with acquisitions and expansion plans in India they are currently looking for an experienced professional to lead the Accounts Receivable process based out of their corporate office in Mumbai. This position will also support our clients European entities.

Job Description

Reporting into the Operations Finance Controller, you will be handling a team of professionals and your key responsibilities will include:

- Manage payments in compliance to prevailing corporate policies, procedures and controls; all payment transactions are complete, accurate and processed in a timely manner

- To liaise and follow up with vendors, suppliers relating to invoices for payment Actively assist the team in resolving payment issues

- Manage month-end/year-end AP closing procedures; Review and supervise team on monthly reconciliation/Statement,

- Tax submission and Statutory Surveys and follow up

- Ensure proper accounting, payment, reporting & submission of all relevant Taxes Streamline processes and implement best practices among all regions whenever possible to ensure informality and efficiency of processes and the use of IT solutions to better meet business needs.

- Monitor the Key Performance Indicators of the team

- Review AP management reports and participate in ad hoc projects

- Manage the team to handle day to day operations

- Timeliness, meeting deadlines and SLA is met Keep staff motivated and continuous people development

The Successful Applicant

- You are a MBA Finance/CA with at least 10 years experience handling Accounts Payable at a global level. Additionally you are able to drive teams and effectively partner with internal stakeholders. We are looking for candidate with excellent track record of successfully implementing and designing systems , SAP experience is a must.
