Manager - Accounts Payable - CA - Retail

We have an opportunity with one of our clients in Mumbai for the position of Manager Accounts Payable.

The key purpose of the role of is to lead the controls function around Opex and Marketing within the Finance & Controls team. This role reports to the Financial Controller.

Develops, implements and maintains systems, procedures and policies, including accounts payable functions to ensure adherence to company guidelines

- Ensuring completeness of cost booking for the month

- Coordinate with various business teams (cost owners)

- Develop and monitor metrics to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of AP operations and drive exceptional efficiency and service levels

- Manages accounting functions including maintenance of general ledger, accounts payables; ensures accuracy and timeliness

- CA with overall 4 to 6 years of experience in the Finance and Accounts function with a reputed organisation of which 3-4 years of operational finance experience would be ideal.

- Sound knowledge of GAAP, financial systems and controls, Good working knowledge and implementation experience of taxation and other regulatory laws.
