Manager - Accounts - CA - BFSI

Function : Overall Accounting, Banking, Tax & Compliance

Location : Corporate Office, Lower Parel

Reporting To : CFO/AGM Finance

- Up to 4 -6 Direct Reports

Accountable For :

- Covering Banking, Expenses & Accounts Payable, Revenue and Debtors, Finalisation of Accounts and liaison with Auditors, Tax & Compliance

- Minimum 5 years relevant experience. Experience in Film Industry preferred though not compulsory

- CA Mandatory. Additional Qualifications of CS/ LLB then better

Experience required :

- Maintenance of books of accounts and monthly closing thereof

- Ability to solely manage Finalisation of Accounts of a Mid - sized Entity with preparation of all the workings and notes

- Liaising and Co-ordinating with statutory, internal, tax and other auditors for completion of audits

- Working knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards, Income Tax Law, Company Law

- MIS reporting, preparation of presentations

- Managing Accounts receivable & Accounts payable

- Supervising statutory compliances and preparing compliance report

- Preparation and updation of cash flows on a rolling basis

- Liaison with Holding Company, HR and secretarial Department

- Developing a Contract Management system & ensuring follow - up and timely reporting of all Business Statements, cost reporting from Co - producers and any other terms as agreed in the contracts

- Expertise in accounting and reporting
