Roles and responsibility :

Oversee and manage international financial accounts, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported in compliance with international accounting standards.

Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity for international operations

Detailed working :

Financial Reporting and Compliance:

Oversee the preparation and consolidation of financial statements across multiple international locations.

Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and other relevant local and global accounting standards.

Manage and coordinate external audits for international entities, ensuring timely and accurate submission of reports.

Stay updated on global tax regulations, trade laws, and financial compliance standards, implementing necessary changes in financial practices.

Cross-Border Transactions and Currency Management:

Manage and oversee international transactions, including payments, receipts, and transfers across different currencies.

Optimize currency exchange rates and manage foreign exchange risks through hedging strategies.

Ensure compliance with global banking regulations and manage international banking relationships.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

Manage international accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely invoicing, collections, and payments across different regions.

Reconcile financial discrepancies, resolve payment issues, and monitor credit control activities for international clients.

Implement and monitor robust internal controls to prevent financial fraud and maintain data integrity across multiple regions.

Team Leadership and Coordination:

Lead and mentor a team of accountants and financial analysts across multiple locations.

Collaborate closely with regional finance teams to ensure alignment with the company's financial objectives.

Conduct regular training sessions to keep the team updated on international financial regulations and best practices.

Strategic Financial Planning:

Provide strategic financial advice to senior management on global expansion plans, mergers and acquisitions, and market entry strategies.

Evaluate investment opportunities in international markets, providing risk analysis and financial forecasts.

Drive cost optimization initiatives across international operations, identifying areas for efficiency improvements and cost reduction.

Client and Vendor Relationship Management:

Maintain strong relationships with international clients, vendors, and partners, ensuring smooth financial transactions.

Negotiate favorable payment terms and manage financial disputes in a timely manner.
