About Our Client

Our client is a leading multinational within the professional services industry. They have worked with some of the most prominent companies in India across a diverse pool of industries. With a growing base in India they are currently recruiting for a Manager in their Corporate Tax function that oversees internal financial reporting and compilation of results for their global operations from India. This global team is more than 60 members strong within the country.

The opportunity is based out of their office in Gurgaon.

Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Manager you will manage a team of three to six people depending on various projects. Your responsibilities shall include:

- Managing the process for compilation of statutory financial results for the Group and coordinating the statutory audit process in Group Companies

- Providing on call corporate tax support to offices across the EMEA and Americas region. This includes review of tax returns, assistance in meeting with local tax compliance requirements, support during audits by local tax authorities

- Coordination with tax experts and advisors in the respective countries and managing or providing assistance during tax audits/assessments.

- Overseeing calculation, invoicing, documentation and planning of transfer pricing charges of group entities

- Planning and supervision of tasks of team members involved in the process

- Coordinating with tax experts and advisors in the respective countries and managing or providing assistance during tax audits/assessments.

The Successful Applicant

You must be a Chartered Accountant with at least 5 years of post qualification experience within a services based multinational. Exposure within the audit teams within a Big 4 is strongly preferred. Strong communication skills with proven exposure in stakeholder management is a must. Strong accounting skills, basic tax knowledge and an ability to handle multiple projects in a team environment shall be pivotal in your success in this role.
