Responsibilities:

- Assist in managing financial operations and oversee the overall accounting functions of the company.

- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.

- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas of improvement.

- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulations.

- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and support tax planning initiatives.

- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure timely completion of audits.

- Provide support in monitoring cash flow, managing accounts receivable and accounts payable.

- Assist in streamlining financial processes and implementing improvements.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations.

- Support the Manager in various ad hoc financial projects and reporting requirements.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a similar role, preferably in a retail industry.

- Strong knowledge and experience in financial analysis and management reporting.

- Proficient in using accounting software and MS Excel to analyze and present financial data.

- Solid understanding of GAAP and financial regulations.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.

- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

- Professional certification (e.g., CA) is preferred but not mandatory.
