About our Client - Our client is a leading player in the automotive industry globally with global turnovers over 10 billion USD. They are investing in India and are currently hiring for a Manager Accounting to monitor their accounting functions in India. The role is based out of Gurgaon.

Job Description - Reporting to the Finance Controller for the company , you will be responsible for:

- Preparing, checking and disseminating accounts along with monthly validation report for accounts as per local standards

- Ensuring accounting quality and consistency of general ledger and cost accounting

- Defending financial statements before external auditors so as to obtain their unqualified certification

- Working with the taxation department to facilitate submission of tax returns, monitor risk assessments and implement tax optimization strategies

- Facilitating the stabilization of a new ERP system while working proactively to identify challenges and concerns in implementation

The Successful Candidate - You must be a Chartered Accountant with atleast 5 years of post qualification experience in a non consulting based industry environment. Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to manage senior stakeholders are a must. Prior knowledge in IGAAP and IFRS is required.
