Manager - Accounting & Controls - CA - BFSI

Qualified Chartered Accountant with 5+ years of experience in accounting in Financial Services Industry.

Your key accountabilities

- Responsible for overall month end close process for different entities. This includes co-ordinating and working closely with the onshore Controllership teams

- Responsible for Balance sheet account reconciliations for associated accounts on monthly basis to ensure all balances items are settled within defined time

- Assist with analysis of legal entity financial results on monthly basis.

- Ensure the year end audit process including preparation of Financial Statements for different entities happens smoothly and in a timely manner.

- Deal with Ad-Hoc queries from the wider finance community

Essential skills and experience

- Qualified Accountant with around 5-6 years of experience in an accounting role with Financial Services sector.

- Knowledge of German language would be preferred. The candidate would be expected to liaise with onshore controlling team and deal with local financial statements

- Prior experience of working in accounting / controllership team would be preferred

- Sound financial concepts, knowledge of accounting principles

- Experience of Hyperion HFM, JDE environments and Microsoft Access.

- Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office software packages and proficient with Microsoft Excel.
