Manager Accounting and Controlling

Job Description / Activities:

- General Responsible for accounting and controlling of defined subsidiaries

- Reporting according to local GAAP and IFRS (International Finance and Reporting Standards)

- Accounting / Responsible for single entries as well as for closing processes

- Controlling: This contains at least but is not limited to:

- General ledger entries according to the Accounting Manual of the Group and according to local GAAP

- Accounts receivable (including invoicing)

- Accounts payable

- Intercompany transactions (incl. reconciliation)

- Inventory

- Fixed assets

- Payment transactions

- Cost accounting

- Cash Planning

Tax (in collaboration with external service provider):

- Income tax statements

- Deferred taxes

- VAT Statements

Reporting:

- Operational reporting to General Manager

- Monthly reporting to Group Controlling

Budgeting:

- SAP Key User Function for FI / CO

HR Payroll:

- (optional) PF ESI remittances

- Gratuity / Leave encashment

- Computation of individual tax, form 16

- Compliance : Ensure compliance with local legal rules and regulations (corporate laws, taxes etc.)

- Assignment

- Disciplinary General Manager

- Technical CFO

- Communication

- Internal Group Controlling

- General Manager

- Finance Departments of other Group Companies

- CFO

- External Auditor

- Authorities

Job specification:

- Education: Higher degree in Accounting, e.g. CA (Inter)

- Knowledge in IFRS

- Experience at least 5 years experience in a comparable positions

- Language: Very good written and oral skills in English

Qualification profile:

- Working method accurate

- Independent

- Able to work under pressure

IT-Knowledge Microsoft Office (especially Word, Excel)

- SAP FI/CO

- Cognos Controller (nice to have)
